To procure, manage, and dispose of supplies and/or assets required for use by Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the public sector. To manage procurement and supplies common service.

To procure and supply quality goods and effectively manage procurement common services for the public sector, in order to support sustainable economic development

Vision

A trusted provider of value for money goods and services to the public sector

Strategic objectives

Ensure quality adequate stock at all times. To recruit and retain qualified procurement and supplies personnel in the public service To support effective and efficient delivery of procurement and supplies functions

Core values

Objectivity: All members of staff shall endeavor to make decisions based on facts and logical thinking, free from personal biases, emotions or outside pressure

Integrity: All members of staff shall put the interest of the public service above personal interests & carry out the business of the organization in a manner that is beyond reproach

Financial prudence: DPSS believes in transparent use of public funds and it shall endeavor to be disciplined and responsible in the management of financial resources, with emphasis on sustainability and accountability

Customer centricity : DPSS staff shall at all times place the needs, expectations, and experiences of customers at the heart of organizational decision-making, service delivery and performance evaluation
